TRIMMINGS!
Bean bags, best bloomers, baking.
Hi! I’m back from my annual trip to Greece, which is just the best, most restorative, overflowingly joyful time of the year. Thank you so much for sticking around in my absence!
I didn’t document any of my vacation outfits, but the MVPiece of clothing from my trip was a pair of Miu Miu S/S 2017 bloomers that my sister picked up for me at James Veloria last year. They’re beautifully made (as you’d expect #oldMiuMiu to be) with a reinforced panel in the front to hold you in and keep the legs from riding up too much. They’re also just fun and not so fancy that you wouldn’t, say, wear them to the beach—they’re just little cotton shorts after all! The same pair is here in blue, and there’s a slightly different (but equally cute) pair here.

I’m sure you’re all tired of discussing Chanel couture at this point…so let me just say that I will spend the next few months brainstorming how I could ever possibly get my hands on one of these BEAN miniaudieres:
I loved pretty much everything else too.

SUMMER IN A PHOTO! Manuela Pavesi forever <3

Not at all a clothing recommendation but I made this cherry and nectarine cobbler from Claire Ptak’s aptly named Love is a Pink Cake last weekend, and you should too. Wonderful for breakfast with a splash of cream. And all of the recipes in Love is a Pink Cake are my go-tos for unfussy summer entertaining!
