TRIMMINGS!
Costume Art, pink feathers, rain loafers.
The Costume Institute announced the theme for their 2026 exhibition: Costume Art! I’m so excited about this one, art and fashion history entwined in their most traditional form—it’s very Anne Hollander (my favourite). The exhibition will also be the first held in a new 12,000 square foot wing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art that will house all Costume Institute spring shows moving forward! I was with a friend working on the exhibition last night, and she said that, in her opinion, the best thing about the show is the massive variety of mannequins that the Costume Institute has created solely for this show. It’s all so exciting one might almost forget that Costume Art will be sponsored by Jeff and Lauren Bezos—zoinks.

A really cute treasure for all your upcoming festive events…

And a recommendation from my chic mom, whom you all loved almost as much as I do: rain loafers from the Tretorn x Kassl collab! She wore them when we got together on Wednesday; I went out on Thursday and bought a pair of my own. So good for impending slushy days!

DO GOOD PANTS EXIST?! Specifically pants for people who don’t really like pants?! Please help. My legs are so cold.

Talking of good pants, I’m coveting these but I can’t justify £800 on clown trousers lol - https://www.ssense.com/en-gb/women/product/caro-editions/off-white-annika-clown-trousers/18278541
